Harry Kane: My chances of winning the Ballon d'Or are not in my hands
English star Harry Kane, striker for Bayern Munich, spoke about his chances of competing for the Ballon d'Or, confirming that the decision is now in the hands of the voters and the bodies responsible for selecting the winner.
Harry Kane said in statements to TNT Sports: "Of course, now it is out of my hands, and the decision is up to the voters and the people who decide the winner. The season I had was by far my best season, and we will have to wait and see what happens."
The English striker added: "I am happy to be among the competitors, so we have to wait and see."
It is scheduled that the 30 nominees for the men's and women's Ballon d'Or will be announced tomorrow, Tuesday, along with 10 nominees for the Best Young Talent award for men and 5 nominees for the Best Young Talent award for women, in addition to 10 nominees for the Best Goalkeeper award for men and 5 for women.
The Ballon d'Or ceremony will take place on Monday, October 26, 2026, in London.
