Details revealed of FC Barcelona's agreement with Ohana and Park Babylon
Reports have revealed details of FC Barcelona's two commercial agreements with Ohana Development and Park Babylon, which will be presented to the general assembly for approval on September 19, according to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo."
The Ohana agreement includes a license to develop a residential project linked to FC Barcelona in the United Arab Emirates until 2055, along with a sponsorship agreement to promote the project and the brand until 2030. The company will also become a global sponsor of the club, and its logo will appear on the back of FC Barcelona's shirt during the seasons from 2027/2028 to 2029/2030.
FC Barcelona has not officially revealed the financial details, but "Mundo Deportivo" reported that the club will receive around €10 million annually for the first three years, after already receiving between €2 million and €3 million as an upfront payment. After that, the company will pay just over €1 million annually for nearly 30 years in exchange for the presence of the Barcelona brand in the UAE real estate complex.
The Park Babylon agreement includes a 25-year license to develop and operate a family entertainment center branded by FC Barcelona at Spotify Camp Nou, along with a plan for gradual expansion of club-branded entertainment centers in Catalonia, with the possibility of international expansion.
The agreements aim to provide recurring revenue sources for FC Barcelona, as well as strengthen its connection with local and international fans.
