Officially.. Al Ittihad announces signing of Wijnaldum

Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad has officially announced the signing of Dutch midfielder Jorginho Wijnaldum to strengthen the team's squad for the new season. This move comes after the player departed from Al Ettifaq.

Wijnaldum's move to Al-Ittihad comes after he concluded his time with Al-Ettifaq, where he played for three seasons, deciding to continue his career in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Ittihad.

Al-Ittihad did not incur any transfer fees for the deal, as Wijnaldum became a free agent after leaving Al-Ettifaq, while the experienced Dutch star signed a contract for one season with Al-Ittihad.

The signing of Wijnaldum comes as Al-Ittihad look to bolster their midfield, having also added Colombian Richard Ríos to their ranks from SL Benfica during the current summer transfer window.

Wijnaldum has extensive European experience, having previously played for prominent clubs including Newcastle, Paris Saint-Germain, Liverpool, and AS Roma.
