Goalkeeper scores brace and becomes his team's top scorer in Netherlands
Dutch goalkeeper Ronald Koeman Junior, son of Dutch football legend Ronald Koeman, made history in the Netherlands league by scoring two goals during the match against Cambuur today, Sunday, in the fourth round of the Netherlands league.
Koman Junior scored two penalties to lead Telstar to a 2-2 draw after the team was two goals down, in a match that saw exceptional performances from the goalkeeper in the attacking side.
Koman Junior has become the first goalkeeper to score a brace in a single match in the Netherlands, and after his two goals, he is now the top scorer for Telstar in the competition this season after four rounds.
The 31-year-old goalkeeper continues to write his own story, having scored a crucial goal for Telstar last season, although his scoring record is still very far from that of his father, Ronald Koeman, who netted 253 goals during his career.
