Rodri approaches 100 appearances in LaLiga

Rodri, the Spanish midfielder for FC Barcelona, is preparing to achieve a remarkable milestone in his career in the Premier League, as he is just one match away from reaching the 100-match barrier in LaLiga.

Rodri currently has 99 matches in the competition, with 63 appearances for Villarreal, 34 for Atlético, and two for FC Barcelona, meaning he is on the verge of entering the 100 club during his team's match against Valencia, should he receive any minutes in the game, whether as a starter or a substitute.

Rodri has returned to LaLiga this season after seven years in the Premier League with Manchester City, where he has started his appearances with FC Barcelona gradually, participating in two matches so far since joining the Catalan team.

The match against Valencia also holds a special encounter for Rodri in midfield against Xavi Guerra, who has previously been linked with FC Barcelona's interest in signing him, but the interest did not turn into formal negotiations.

If he participates, Rodri will celebrate reaching his 100th match in LaLiga, marking a new milestone in his Spanish career.
