Vitinha named player of the month for August at Paris Saint-Germain

Vitinha continues to confirm his significant importance within the ranks of Paris Saint-Germain, after being chosen by journalists from Le Parisien as the Player of the Month for the club in August.

The Portuguese midfielder has received an average rating of 7.13 out of 10, outperforming his teammates, to win the award again after previously winning it five times last season.

Despite a less than ideal start to the season for Paris Saint-Germain, Vitinha has maintained his level and influence in midfield, remaining one of the key pillars of the team under coach Luis Enrique.

Vitinha played a crucial role in the 2-2 draw against Lille, scoring Paris Saint-Germain's first goal in the 91st minute before assisting Marquinhos for the equaliser in stoppage time.
