Marisca: I liked what we showed today, and I promise it will improve

Enzo Maresca, the manager of Manchester City, confirmed his satisfaction with his team's 1-0 victory over Coventry in the Premier League, noting that the match was difficult due to the opponent's reliance on defensive organization.

Mariska stated in remarks to the BBC's "Match of the Day": "I liked what we presented today for several reasons. In the 1st half, we could have scored one or two more goals, but we worked together to achieve the win, and that's why I am happy."

He added: "It is difficult to play against teams that rely on defensive organization, and I felt we dealt with it very well. The fans' concern is natural, as nine out of ten matches of this kind can end with a bad feeling, but it is important to win by a goal to nil."

Manchester City manager said: "Not every performance will be beautiful, you also need to go through difficult and ugly moments to achieve victory."

Regarding Nico O'Reilly's injury, who was left out of the starting lineup before the match due to feeling pain during warm-up, Mariska explained: "Nico felt something in his back during warm-up, but it is not a serious injury."

Mariska spoke about Enzo Fernández's appearance in front of Manchester City fans, stating: "Enzo came on, and his first appearance in front of the team's fans was perfect."

He also praised the player Bouadi, who participated in the final minutes, explaining: "He came in during the last moments, and it was a difficult situation for him, but he will undoubtedly improve. All these players need time."
