FC Barcelona second most valuable football club in the world

FC Barcelona has risen to second place in the list of the most valuable football clubs in the world, according to Forbes' 2026 ranking, with the Catalan club valued at $7.5 billion.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", FC Barcelona has advanced from third to second place, surpassing Manchester United, which is valued at $7.2 billion, while Real Madrid tops the list with a value of $9.5 billion.

Forbes' figures are based on data from the end of the 2024/2025 financial season, while FC Barcelona has not yet fully benefited from the revenues of Spotify Camp Nou, which will reach a capacity of 104,600 seats upon completion, including 9,400 seats for VIPs.

FC Barcelona's value has risen by 33% compared to last year, from $5.65 billion to $7.5 billion. Forbes estimates the club's business value at $3.012 billion, broadcasting rights at $1.682 billion, ticket sales and matchday revenues at $1.454 billion, alongside $1.352 billion for brand value.

Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain rank next among football clubs with values of $6.2 billion and $5.8 billion respectively, while FC Barcelona holds the fifteenth position globally among all sports clubs.
