Zamalek beat E.S. Port 2-1 in CAF Champions League

The match between Zamalek SC and ÉS Port, held this evening at Cairo International Stadium, concluded with the white team winning 2-1 in the first leg of the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

Mohamed Shehata scored Zamalek SC's first goal in the 6th minute of the match, and the second goal for the whites came from Chico Banza in the 37th minute.

Mahdi Hussein Mahbi scored for ES Port in the 82nd minute after a mistake from Zamalek SC's defense.

The first preliminary round second leg of the CAF Champions League will take place on Saturday, September 12, at the Cairo International Stadium.

Zamalek SC returns to the CAF Champions League after a three-year absence, following their triumph in the Egyptian League last season (2025-2026), beginning a new journey towards competing for the continental title.
