Liverpool may move to sign Yankuba Minteh in January

Fabian Hurtsler, Brighton's manager, has revealed that Gambian winger Yankuba Minteh may leave the team in the upcoming winter transfer window, amid interest from Liverpool.

Liverpool have concluded the summer transfer window without signing a direct replacement for Mohamed Salah on the right wing, despite being linked with several names.

Hurtzler said in his statements before the Brighton vs Leeds United match: "He may fulfill his dream in the next transfer window," referring to the possibility of Minteh's departure.

Yankuba Minteh is one of Liverpool's top targets, having previously been linked with a move to the club, but the deal did not materialise during the summer transfer window.
