Pedro Neto's stance on leaving in January
Pedro Neto, the Portuguese winger for Chelsea, is determined to remain with the team in the upcoming period, despite the interest shown by Liverpool, Manchester City, and several clubs in the Premier League in signing him during the summer transfer window.
According to TEAMtalk, Neto has not pushed for a move away from Chelsea during the summer and wants the opportunity to prove his ability to become a key and influential player in coach Xabi Alonso's project.
The player's position comes amid a strong start for Chelsea under Alonso, as the team has achieved three consecutive victories at the beginning of the season, including a win over Brighton by four goals to three, in which Neto scored a goal.
Despite being linked with a summer departure, Neto believes that staying at Stamford Bridge is the best option for him at the moment, hoping to secure a bigger role with the team and compete strongly for a starting place in Alonso's lineup.
Reports suggest that the 25-year-old player may reassess his position during the January transfer window if his appearances and role at Chelsea do not develop as he hopes.
