Nasser Mansy apologises to Zamalek fans

Nasser Mansy, the forward for Zamalek SC's first team, has apologised for his actions during his team's match against Petrojet in the third round of the Egyptian League, which ended with a 2-1 victory for the Whites.

Zamalek SC's match against Petrojet saw anger from Nasser Mansy, the Zamalek striker, after the end of the game. This sparked significant interaction on social media, in addition to his failure to greet Zamalek fans after the match.

Ibrahim Abdel Jawad reported on ON Sport, quoting Nasser Mansy, the striker of Zamalek SC: "I spoke with Nasser Mansy and he confirmed to me that he did not go to greet the fans due to a doping test."

He added: "Nasser confirmed that he has not yet reached 100% match fitness, and he understands the sadness of Zamalek SC fans, but the future will be better."
