Digne: I am not worried about my substitute role at Paris

Lucas Digne has confirmed that he does not feel concerned about sitting on the bench with Paris Saint-Germain since returning to the club, emphasizing that judging his situation after only three matches would be an exaggeration.

The left-back stated, in comments reported by L'Équipe: "If I were to feel worried after three matches, that would be sad."

Digne has returned to Paris Saint-Germain this summer from Aston Villa, signing a contract that runs until 2029, but he has joined the team as a backup to Portuguese Nuno Mendes in the left-back position.

It seems that Digne, aged 33, is handling the competition calmly, especially since he had a similar experience during his first spell at the club between 2013 and 2015, when Brazilian Maxwell was preferred in his position.
