Juventus announces Thuram underwent surgery and details on Kabal's injury

Juventus have announced the medical update regarding Khéphren Thuram and Juan Cabal, following their medical examinations and procedures in recent hours.

Khéphren Thuram underwent surgery this Thursday morning to treat a patellar cartilage injury in his right knee. The operation was performed by Dr. Bertrand Suneric Couté at the Hôpital Privé Jean Mermoz in Lyon, with the medical director of Juventus, Dr. Luca Stefanini, in attendance.

Juventus have confirmed that the procedure was a complete success, with Khéphren Thuram set to begin his rehabilitation programme tomorrow.

Juan Cabal has undergone additional diagnostic tests after suffering a muscle issue during yesterday's training.

Scans have revealed that Kabal has suffered a mild muscle strain in his left hamstring.
