Mokwena: Al Ahly FC is the club of the century and Pyramids FC is an ambitious team

South African Rulani Mokwena, the manager of Pyramids FC, spoke about Zamalek SC and Al Ahly FC, mentioning that his team is ambitious and has gained supporters.

Mokoena stated in remarks on Al-Nahar channel: "The situation is very difficult. As a football coach, I have seen Zamalek a lot and watched them in the CAF Champions League. They have lost many players and the coach has changed, but Zamalek will remain Zamalek. It is a historic team and very important in the eyes of the Egyptian people, and therefore the team represents the elegance of football in Egypt."

He added: "As for Al Ahly FC, it is the team that has many great players and has both a youth team and a first team. When anyone thinks of Egyptian football, Al Ahly FC comes to mind; it is the club of the century in Africa."

He continued: "We know we have a small team, but it is an ambitious team. We want everyone to watch us; we want to reach our goal and win titles. Pyramids FC does not have a history, but we know that many fans love a winning team, and if we achieve victory, we will attract the crowds. We have seen in some matches that there are many fans who filled the stadium."

He concluded: "Zamalek and Al Ahly FC have history, you impose your identity and we are building this identity in a way and we will take the time, we want to impose this way and send messages to the fans."
