Estêvão feels concerned about lack of chances with Chelsea

ESPN Brasil has revealed that Brazilian Estêvão has started to feel worried about his future at Chelsea, having not received a significant opportunity at the beginning of the season under Spanish manager Xabi Alonso.

According to the report, Estêvão has informed close associates that he fears he may not have enough space in Alonso's plans, having played only 7 minutes in the league opener against Fulham, before starting in the League Cup match against Luton Town, and then remaining on the bench throughout the match against Brighton.

The competition is fierce in the attacking positions, particularly as Estêvão prefers to play in a deeper role behind the striker, where he is challenged by Cole Palmer and Morgan Rogers. Additionally, the option to play as a right winger instead of Pedro Neto is not favored by the player, as he believes that this role may require an increase in muscle mass at the expense of his speed and movement.

Despite this, Estêvão has assured those close to him that he is happy at Chelsea and wishes to continue with the club. However, the report indicated that the continued lack of playing time during the first half of the season may lead him to reconsider his position during the January transfer window.

Estêvão has joined Chelsea from Sociedade Esportiva Palmeiras for €61.5 million. He has played 38 matches for the team so far, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists.
