Al Ahly FC are close to finalising negotiations with AS Monaco for the signing of young midfielder Bab Cabral during the current transfer window, according to L'Équipe.

19-year-old Cabral has renewed his contract with AS Monaco during the current summer transfer window, ensuring his stay at the French club until 2031.
The player has played 22 matches for AS Monaco's Under-19 team, and he has also worn the jersey of France's Under-17 team, participating in the European Championship for that age group.
Krebal made his first appearance with the first team of AS Monaco on September 27, 2025, during the match against Lorient, before receiving further opportunities to participate.
He also made appearances in European competitions, featuring for AS Monaco against Manchester City in the UEFA Champions League, gaining early European experience.
The French midfielder concluded the 2025-2026 season after appearing in 6 matches for AS Monaco, before becoming a target for Al Ahly FC during the current transfer window.
Al Ahly FC is negotiating with Kabrial as part of the club's efforts to strengthen their squad with young players, with a desire to finalize the deal before the transfer window closes.
