Simón Adéingra joins Ajax on loan

Ajax have reached an agreement with Sunderland to sign Ivorian winger Simon Adingra on loan, in a deal that was officially confirmed after the player successfully passed his medical.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Sunderland will receive over €3 million for the loan, with the agreement including a buy option of €16 million in favor of Ajax.

Romano confirmed that the purchase option is not mandatory, allowing Ajax to assess the player's level throughout the season before making a final decision on a permanent deal.

Adeniran had joined Sunderland from Brighton before going on loan to AS Monaco last season, and he is now starting a new chapter in his career with Ajax.
