Felipe Luis backs Lamine Camara and labels him a top player
Felipe, the manager of AS Monaco, praised the abilities of Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara, reaffirming that the club, coaching staff, and players hope for his continued presence in the team. This comes after the significant interest he has received in the last hours of the transfer market.
Felipe Luis spoke about Lamine Camara: "Honestly, he is a special young man. I feel that every day in training, and every day I talk to him. He is very special, and it is really easy to work with him. The football world knows his potential, and all clubs are watching him. If nothing changes, and he maintains his level and continues to develop, and I am convinced he will, there won't be just one club wanting to sign him in the next transfer market."
As I said before, he is an elite player. What makes him happy is simply playing football and being on the pitch. Therefore, what he needs to do now is to return to playing as soon as possible.
Brazilian coach's comments come after Lamine Camara was close to leaving AS Monaco in the final hours of the transfer window, amid strong interest from Chelsea, before the deal stalled and the player remained with the club in the principality.
Felipe has previously expressed his great admiration for Senegalese player Lamine Camara, confirming that his level and abilities have caught his attention exceptionally since he took over as coach of AS Monaco.
