Enzo Fernández makes history with unprecedented achievement

Enzo Fernández has made history in football by becoming the first player to be transferred for over €100 million in two different deals during his career.

Chelsea had signed midfielder Enzo Fernández from SL Benfica in January 2023 for €121 million, making him the most expensive player in Premier League history at the time.

After around three and a half years, Enzo Fernández has moved from Chelsea to Manchester City for £125 million, equating to approximately €146 million, matching the record for the most expensive transfer in Premier League history.

Enzo Fernández's transfers between SL Benfica and Chelsea, then Chelsea and Manchester City, have reached a total value of around €267 million, making him the first player in the history of the game to surpass the €100 million mark in two separate transfers.
