Monaco president reveals details of Chelsea's attempts to sign Lamine Camara
Tiago Scurru, the CEO of AS Monaco, revealed the details of Chelsea's attempts to sign Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara recently.
Scurro stated that AS Monaco's management has been in constant contact with Chelsea throughout the past ten days, explaining that the English club made a new inquiry last night about the possibility of opening the door for the sale of the player.
AS Monaco's president confirmed that Chelsea inquired directly about Lamine Camara's potential departure, but he clarified that the answer was no, emphasizing the French club's commitment to the player and their intention not to part ways with him at this time.
Scorro noted that these attempts came alongside the stalled transfer of Lamine Camara to Everton, as Chelsea believed that AS Monaco might become open to selling if the French club needed funds, but the AS Monaco management remained steadfast in their position.
