Bruno Fernandes wins Player of the Match award in Premier League round 2

Portuguese player Bruno Fernandes, of Manchester United, has been awarded the Best Player of Matchday 2 in the Premier League for the 2026/2027 season, following his impressive performance with his team.

Bruno Fernandes delivered an impressive performance during the match against Ipswich in the second round of the Premier League, scoring three goals and providing another assist, contributing to Manchester United's victory by a score of 5-2.

A Manchester United player garnered 69% of the fans' votes, outperforming Ryan Cherki, Morgan Rogers, Nico González, Erling Haaland, João Pedro, and Tzoulakis.

This is not the first time that Bruno Fernandes has won the Player of the Week award in the Premier League, as he claimed it on six occasions last season, more than any other player.

Cole Palmer, Chelsea player, has won the Player of the Round award for the first round of the Premier League.
