Genoa close to re-signing El Shaarawy

Stefan Figueiredo Pereira is preparing to return to his first club Genoa, in a move that brings the Italian forward back to the place where his football journey began, as negotiations between the two parties have reached their final stages, and the announcement of the deal is just a matter of hours.

Stephan El Shaarawy has become a free agent after his contract with AS Roma expired, allowing him to sign with Genoa without waiting for the transfer deadline. However, negotiations have accelerated in recent times, with strong indications that both parties are close to reaching a final agreement, before the player undergoes a medical examination and completes the contract signing process.

Genoa's desire to re-sign their former striker aligns with the 'Pharaoh's' ambition to start a new chapter in his career, especially after he was convinced by the project led by coach Daniele De Rossi, bringing the player closer to returning to the club where he began his football journey.
