Tottenham officially announces signing of Tosin Adarabioyo

Tottenham have announced the signing of Tosin Adarabioyo from Chelsea to bolster the team's defense.

Tottenham have stated on their official website that the 28-year-old defender has extensive experience in the Premier League, having previously played for Manchester City, West Bromwich, Blackburn, Fulham, and Chelsea.

Tosin Adarabioyo said: "I am at an important stage of my career, and after speaking with the manager and understanding the type of football he wants to present, I believe this is very suitable for me. He wants the team to play with courage, and that is something I always strive to do."

He added: "I want to achieve the best I can, to push this team and this club as far as possible, and to get them to the place we deserve to be."

Tosin Adarabioyo began his career with Manchester City, joining the club at the age of five. He progressed through the youth ranks before making his first-team debut in 2016, and then had loan spells with West Bromwich and Blackburn.

The defender has moved to Fulham permanently in October 2020, playing 132 matches with the club over four years before transferring to Chelsea in July 2024.

Tosin Adarabioyo has made 70 appearances for Chelsea, scoring 7 goals. He also won the UEFA Europa League and the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025 with the team, and represented England at various age levels up to under-19.
