Everton officially announces the signing of Jack Grealish on loan

Everton have officially announced the return of Englishman Jack Grealish from Manchester City on loan until the end of the 2026/2027 season.

Jack Grealish, 30, had a standout season with Everton during his first loan spell, featuring in 20 Premier League matches, scoring two goals and providing six assists, before suffering a foot injury in February that ended his season.

Everton have confirmed on their official website that Grealish has fully recovered after undergoing a rehabilitation program with the Manchester City medical staff, allowing him to return to manager David Moyes' team and become the club's sixth signing during the summer transfer window.

Jack Grealish said in statements to Everton TV: "I feel very happy. I think I am at my best when I feel loved, and that is what the coach, my teammates, and especially the fans have given me."

He added: "I spent six perfect months here, and I watched all of Everton's matches during the pre-season and since the start of the season. Now I feel ready, and I am prepared to start training tomorrow and get ready for the matches."

Jack Grealish spoke about his relationship with manager David Moyes, saying: "I love him, he is a great manager, he was one of the main reasons that brought me back here. I had a great relationship with him and the players here, and I am ready to play in any position the manager wants and help the team as much as I can."

During his first spell with Everton, Grealish provided 4 assists in his first two Premier League matches, as well as scoring two crucial goals against Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth.
