Olympique Lyon agree with Stade Reims to sign Kito Nakamura

Olympique Lyon have reached an agreement with Stade Reims to sign Japanese winger Kito Nakamura on the final day of the summer transfer window, according to L'Équipe.

According to the source, Nakamura will join Olympique Lyon on loan for €2 million, with an obligatory purchase clause worth around €11 million, excluding incentives and bonuses.

The 26-year-old Japanese player is set to undergo medical examinations in Olympique Lyon after heading to the city to finalize his transfer.

Nakamura joined Stade Reims in 2023 and is still contracted to the club until 2028.

Olympique Lyon are moving to sign Nakamura to replace the expected departure of Belgian winger Malek Fofana, who is close to joining Crystal Palace. The Nakamura deal remains tied to Fofana's exit from the French club.
