Amir Hisham has revealed the latest developments regarding the contract renewal of Al Ahly FC goalkeeper Mustafa Shobir, confirming that the player has not yet renewed his contract with the team due to a disagreement over the release clause.

Amir Hossam has explained via his Facebook page that Mostafa Shobeir wishes to set a release clause that would allow him to leave for approximately $2 million, which does not conform to Al Ahly FC's position of refusing to include release clauses in player contracts.

Mustafa Shobair's ambition for a foreign professional career is a legitimate right, with the closest and most certain direction currently being the renewal of the goalkeeper's contract with Al Ahly FC according to the club's terms and philosophy, without including any penalty clause in the new contract.
