Kingdom Holding Company has completed the acquisition of 70% of Al-Hilal's shares, in partnership with the Public Investment Fund, which now owns 30% of the club.


The deal comes to enhance private sector presence in Al-Hilal ownership, after Kingdom Holding Company announced the official completion of the acquisition today, Tuesday, at 3:56 PM.


The company confirmed, via its official account on the 'X' platform, its commitment to providing full support to the club and assisting with its needs and ambitions during the upcoming phase.


Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal expressed his pride in Al-Hilal, sending a message to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, confirming continued support for the club.


Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal emphasized that Kingdom Holding Company will continue to provide full support to Al-Hilal, alongside his ongoing personal support for the club and its various needs.


This step comes as part of a new phase in the ownership of Al-Hilal, with Kingdom Holding owning the largest share at 70%, compared to 30% for the Public Investment Fund.


Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal has pledged to continue supporting Al-Hilal, expressing his hope to see the team continue to achieve success and raise the flag of the Kingdom in various forums.
