Shobir: Al Ahly FC do not want to drop any points before the international break

Ahmed Shobair has confirmed that Wael Gomaa, the director of football at Al Ahly FC, met with the team's players and urged them to win all their league matches before the upcoming international break.

Ahmad Shobair said in radio statements today, Tuesday: "There is still nothing new regarding the renewals for the players after the extensions for Emam Ashour, Marwan Ateya, and finally Omar Sayed Mawad. Al Ahly FC has a very important match against Smouha SC on Thursday, and what Al Ahly FC wants from the meetings of Wael Gomaa with the players is to secure 15 points from the first 5 matches in the league before the break for the Egypt national team camp, so that when the league stops, Al Ahly FC will be at the top. Wael Gomaa emphasized to the players: We do not want to lose any points."

Shobeir added: "Al Ahly FC faced El Sharkia Enppi FC and on Thursday they have Smouha SC, followed by two matches against El Mokawloon SC and Abou Qir Fertilizers.
