Aston Villa announces signing of Ibrahim Mbaye

Aston Villa have officially signed Senegalese winger Ibrahim Mbaye from Paris Saint-Germain on a permanent transfer during the current transfer window.

Ibrahim Mbaye is 18 years old and is considered one of the most prominent young talents in Senegalese football. He participated with his national team in the FIFA World Cup 2026 and scored a goal, becoming the youngest African player to score in FIFA World Cup history.

The player made his first-team debut for Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 16, winning two UEFA Champions League titles, two French league titles, the Coupe de France, and two UEFA Super Cups during his time at the French club.

On the international stage, Ibrahim Mbaye has played 15 matches for the Senegal national team, continuing his international career with the Teranga Lions at a young age.
