Fulham secures new deal with Real Madrid
Fulham have reached a verbal agreement with Real Madrid to sign midfielder Manuel Ángel on a permanent transfer, according to transfer market specialist Fabrizio Romano.
According to the details, Real Madrid will retain a percentage of the player's future sale value, along with including a clause in the agreement that grants the royal club matching rights for any future offer to sign him.
Manuel Ángel, 22, is set to leave Real Madrid in search of a new opportunity that offers him more playing time and the chance to continue his development in a strong league like the Premier League.
The signing is part of Real Madrid's strategy to work with young talents, as both Gonzalo García and Cézar Palacios have previously transferred in line with coach Álvaro Arbeloa's project.
Fulham hope that Manuel Ángel will be a strong addition to the team's midfield, as the player seeks to prove himself away from the walls of Real Madrid.
