Diriyah set to sign Barcelona's young talent

Al-Dhariyah have made significant progress in negotiations to sign young Croatian winger Lovro Čerina from FC Barcelona during the current transfer window. The deal aims to bolster the team with talents that have the potential for development.

According to the Spanish newspaper 'Mundo Deportivo', negotiations between Al Diriyah and FC Barcelona have reached advanced stages, with expectations of completing the player's transfer in the coming days.

Chelsea is 19 years old and represents the Croatia U19 national team. He plays as a winger and possesses attacking potential that has attracted the attention of the Catalan club's officials in recent times.

The deal does not aim to completely sever the player's ties with FC Barcelona, as the Spanish club seeks to include a clause that grants them the right to re-sign Chelsea in the future, while continuing to monitor his development.

The Croatian player featured last season with FC Barcelona's Under-19 team, making 21 appearances and scoring one goal. He also played one match with Barcelona Atlètic under the management of Juliano Belletti.

Al-Dhariyah are making their debut in the Saudi Professional League this season after securing their place among the elite following promotion from the First Division last season.
