FC Barcelona top LaLiga after victory over Rayo Vallecano

FC Barcelona secured an exciting 5-2 victory against Rayo Vallecano in the match held at Spotify Camp Nou, as part of the third round of LaLiga.

Rayo Vallecano opened the scoring in the 12th minute through Sergio Camello, before Raphinha equalised for FC Barcelona in the 19th minute.

Just two minutes later, Lamine Yamal succeeded in scoring the second goal for FC Barcelona in the 21st minute, after unleashing a stunning shot that found the back of the net.

In the 51st minute, FC Barcelona extended their lead with a third goal from Florian Lejeune, who scored an own goal, before Sergio Camello pulled one back for Rayo Vallecano in the 59th minute.

Raphinha secured the match for FC Barcelona by scoring the fourth goal in the 71st minute, before Lamine Yamal returned in the 90th minute to net the fifth goal for the Catalan side, confirming their victory in the match.

With this victory, FC Barcelona has increased its tally to 9 points at the top of the LaLiga table, while Rayo Vallecano remains stuck on one point in sixteenth place.
