Raphinha matches Messi's feat with Barcelona

Raphinha continues to shine for FC Barcelona, having scored an important goal against Rayo Vallecano in the third round of LaLiga, equalling the achievement of Argentine Lionel Messi that was accomplished in 2020.

The Brazilian forward scored the equaliser for FC Barcelona against Rayo Vallecano after receiving a brilliant pass from Xavi Espart just outside the penalty area, before he skillfully dribbled past a defender and shot the ball with his foot to the left of the goalkeeper.

According to the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo", Raphinha has reached four goals in LaLiga this season after scoring in the first three matches in a row, becoming the first FC Barcelona player to achieve this feat since Lionel Messi in 2020, during his last season with the Catalan team.

With this goal, Raphinha has joined a group of 14 players who have succeeded in scoring during the first three rounds of LaLiga in a FC Barcelona shirt, while his compatriot Gabriel Jesus celebrated the goal from the stands of Spotify Camp Nou.
