Manchester City have reached an agreement with Everton to sign Senegalese forward Iliman Ndiaye for a fee of £65 million, consisting of £60 million as a fixed fee and an additional £5 million.

Ndiaye was close to moving to Tottenham after the London club reached a preliminary agreement with Everton for around £60 million, before Manchester City intervened and turned the deal around in the final hours.

Manchester City have turned their attention to Ndiaye after failing to reach an agreement with Liverpool for the Dutchman Cody Gakpo, despite making a bid worth £80 million. The FA Cup champions have decided to shift their focus to Ndiaye.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Ndiaye has received permission from Everton to undergo a medical at Manchester City, while personal terms and the contract have been agreed, bringing the deal to its final stages.
