Atlético target Nicolo Tresoldi

Sky Sport Germany has revealed that Spanish clubs FC Barcelona and Atlético have expressed serious interest in signing striker Nicolo Tresoldi, a player from Club Brugge, in recent days.

The network reported that FC Barcelona have entered exploratory negotiations regarding the 21-year-old player, but the Catalan club was not prepared to meet the demands of Club Brugge, who value Trézoldi at around €50 million.

Atlético have also been interested in signing the striker, but they needed to make significant sales to fund the deal, as the club is close to finalising the loan signing of Jonathan David from Juventus with an option to buy.

Trezoldi is among Jürgen Klopp's expanded squad of 57 players, and the forward is expected to make a decision in the coming weeks regarding which national team he will represent, between Germany and Italy.
