Officially: Liverpool announces signing of Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have completed the signing of Frenchman Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain after he passed his medical and signed the contract. The deal is pending the necessary international clearance.

Bradley Barcola has signed a long-term contract with Liverpool at the AXA training centre, and he will wear the number 29 shirt with the team.

The player said after completing his transfer: "It is a great honor to be able to play with Liverpool. I am very happy. It took a long time, but I am happy today, and all I want is to be on the pitch and play."

He added: "I hope to achieve very big things. First, winning the Premier League, as that is one of my biggest dreams in life. I want to achieve that and stay with the team for a long time, which is why I signed a long contract."

Bradley Barcola joins Liverpool after three seasons with Paris Saint-Germain, during which he played 152 matches, scored 39 goals and provided 35 assists. He also won several major titles, including back-to-back UEFA Champions League titles and three consecutive Ligue 1 titles.

Bradley Barcola began his professional career at Olympique Lyon, where he made 47 appearances, scored 7 goals, and provided 11 assists before moving to Paris Saint-Germain in August 2023.

On the international stage, Bradley Barcola has played 28 matches for France since his debut in June 2024, scoring 6 goals, including 3 goals in the FIFA World Cup this summer, during which he participated in all of France's matches and the team finished the tournament in fourth place.

Bradley Barcola spoke about his choice to join Liverpool: "I had the opportunity to play twice at this stadium, and I saw the atmosphere and how the fans stand behind the Liverpool players. When I learned of Liverpool's interest in me, I didn't hesitate, and I knew it was a very big club for me."
