Krouani: SL Benfica one of the biggest clubs in Europe and my goal is to win titles

Moroccan international Sofiane Krouni expressed his happiness at embarking on a new experience with SL Benfica, stating that his main ambition with his new club is to compete for titles and deliver a strong season.

The Croatian has arrived in Portugal, where he was warmly welcomed, before sharing his first impressions, saying: "I received a very good welcome. The atmosphere is great, I feel very good, and I am extremely happy to be here. I can't wait to start working."

The Moroccan player revealed that SL Benfica's status in European football was one of the key factors in his decision, explaining: "I had the opportunity to return to Europe, and SL Benfica is one of the biggest clubs in Europe, so I didn't need to think long about it."

The coach emphasized that competing for titles will be a top priority during his new experience, stating: "I want to win trophies and have a good season with SL Benfica. It is one of the clubs that must achieve titles, and we should not think about it too much, and that is my goal."

The Moroccan international spoke about his communication with SL Benfica's coach, confirming he had a phone call with him before starting his journey with the team. He added: "I spoke with him, and I had a wonderful conversation, and as I told him, I can't wait to start my journey with the team."
