Racing Santander officially announces Martínez's transfer to Real Madrid

Racing Santander have announced that they have reached an agreement with Real Madrid regarding the transfer of Sergio Martínez to the royal club, after Real Madrid paid the full amount of the buyout clause stipulated in the player's contract.

Racing has confirmed that Real Madrid paid the buyout clause in one go, making Sergio Martínez a new player for the Madrid club. He thus leaves the team he has been part of since the age of ten.

Martínez has progressed through all age groups at Racing Santander, starting from the youth team to reaching the first team, where he has made 15 appearances.

Racing has sent a farewell message to the player, wishing him success in his upcoming challenges on both a sporting and personal level, affirming its pride in his journey and development during his years with the club.

Martínez's move to Real Madrid comes as a new stage in the player's career, who hopes to continue his development at one of the biggest clubs in Spanish football.
