Chelsea reach agreement with AS Monaco to sign Lamine Camara
Chelsea have reached an agreement with AS Monaco to sign Senegalese midfielder Lamine Camara during the current summer transfer window.
According to sources, Chelsea have agreed a deal worth £38.5 million including add-ons, after negotiations between the two clubs made significant progress in recent hours.
Chelsea have signed Lamine Camara as the club aims to bolster their midfield, especially with the impending departure of Argentine Enzo Fernández. The Senegal international is seen as a strong addition to the midfield due to his ability to perform both defensive and attacking roles.
Lamine Camara has quickly established himself as a key player for AS Monaco after joining from FC Metz in the summer of 2024. He has also excelled with the Senegal national team and participated in the FIFA World Cup 2026.
