Ollie Watkins enters list of most expensive transfers in Saudi Pro League with Al-Hilal

Al-Hilal have officially announced the signing of English striker Ollie Watkins from Aston Villa, in a notable deal to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season, as it directly enters the list of the most expensive transfers in the history of the Saudi Pro League.

According to the reported value of the deal, Al-Hilal paid €58.4 million for the services of Watkins, along with €2 million in incentives and variables, placing the English forward seventh on the list of the most expensive transfers in the history of the Saudi Pro League.

Neymar da Silva leads the list after transferring from Paris Saint-Germain to Al-Hilal for €90 million, making it the most expensive deal in Saudi Pro League history to date.

Englishman John Duran comes in second place after his transfer from Aston Villa to Al-Nassr for €77 million, while Crysencio Summerville occupies third place following his move to Al-Hilal from West Ham for €64.5 million.
