Paco Jémez close to managing Raja Club after Nasser Larguet

Paco Jémez is close to taking over as coach of Raja Club, becoming the leading candidate to succeed Tunisian Nasser Larguet, whose contract was terminated by the club's management.

According to available data, Jiménez tops the list of candidates to lead Raja Club, pending the completion of negotiations and final details before the official announcement of the new coach's identity.

The 56-year-old Spanish coach has a long managerial career, particularly in Spanish football, having previously overseen a number of clubs, including Rayo Vallecano, Córdoba, UD Las Palmas, and Granada.

Javier Aguirre has had coaching experiences outside Spain, most notably with CD Cruz Azul in Mexico and Tractor in Iran, before joining the coaching staff at West Ham United.

If Raja Club reaches a final agreement with him, it will be the green club's first experience in the Moroccan league for Jiménez, after most of his coaching career has been linked to Spanish football, with limited experiences outside of it.
