Atalanta move to sign Juan Cabal from Juventus after failed transfer to Bologna

Atalanta have entered negotiations with Juventus to sign Colombian defender Juan Cabal, as the club looks to strengthen their left side of defence before the transfer window closes.

Kapal has been linked with a move to Bologna in recent times, but the deal has not been finalized, before Atalanta emerged as a new destination for the player, with the club's management moving to reach an agreement with Juventus.

Reports indicate that Atalanta are considering acquiring Kabal on loan with an option to buy, while financial details are still being negotiated between the two clubs.

Atalanta's interest in the Colombian defender comes in light of his previous knowledge of sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, who was behind the signing of Kabal for Juventus from Hellas Verona.
