Controversial Proposal in Trabzon: Street Named After Mohamed Salah

The Yomra Municipality in Trabzon, Turkey, is preparing to make a decision regarding the renaming of "Selfie Street," where the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's future home is located, to "Mohamed Salah Street."

According to Turkish media reports, Salah, who has joined Trabzonspor, will reside in the Yomra district of Kashusto, while preparations for his home are underway ahead of his upcoming move.

Mustafa Beyik, the mayor of Yomra, stated that the transfer of a global star like Salah to live in the region is a source of pride, noting that his presence could help enhance the marketing value of the area.

The municipality wishes to make this phase a permanent part of Daymra's history by naming a street after Salah, with the decision set to be presented to the municipal council this week.
