Parma Moves to Re-sign Matteo Darmian
Parma has entered negotiations to re-sign Italian defender Matteo Darmian after the club initiated contact with the player's camp in recent hours.
Matteo Darmian became a free agent after his contract with Inter Milan ended in June, allowing him to sign with any club without a transfer fee, which has encouraged Parma to move to re-sign him.
Darmian has prior knowledge of Parma, having worn the team's jersey in the 2019-2020 season before moving to Inter, where he spent six seasons and won nine titles.
Parma is facing competition from Torino, who are also interested in signing the player. Meanwhile, Darmian is currently weighing his available options, with a desire to continue playing in Italy.
