The Moroccan U18 national team has won the bronze medal in the football competitions at the Mediterranean Games, achieving a significant victory over their Italian counterparts with a score of 4-1 on Sunday, while awaiting the final match between Tunisia and Algeria.


Morocco opened the scoring in the ninth minute through Mounsef, ending the first half with a 1-0 lead.


At the start of the second half, Daoudi strengthened Morocco's lead with a powerful shot in the 47th minute, before Saadi added the third goal just minutes later, making the score 3-0.


Italy tried to get back into the match, with Gianmattia reducing the deficit with a beautiful diagonal shot following a remarkable individual effort. However, the Italians squandered other opportunities to score a second goal.


The Moroccan national team sealed the match definitively with fifteen minutes remaining, when Ben Omar scored the fourth goal with a stunning strike from outside the box. The match concluded with Morocco triumphing 4-1, earning them the bronze medal.
