Aston Villa Stands Firm on Mattsen's Potential Move to Manchester United
Aston Villa has clarified its stance on the potential departure of Dutch left-back Ian Maatsen to Manchester United, following the Red Devils' interest in signing him during the final days of the summer transfer window.
According to "TEAMtalk", Aston Villa does not wish to sell Matty Cash and is ready to present him with a new contract after Manchester United inquired about the possibility of signing him.
The report clarified that Aston Villa is steadfast in their desire to retain Matty Cash, while Manchester United continues to search for other options to strengthen their left-back position ahead of the transfer window closing.
Alejandro Balde, the Barcelona player, is one of the options being considered by Manchester United, as the same source indicated that negotiations regarding his potential transfer are taking place.
However, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that the deal faces difficulties, explaining that Balde wants to stay at Barcelona, while the Catalan club currently does not agree to loan him out. Additionally, the financial cost of a permanent transfer poses an obstacle for Manchester United.
