Roma Officially Signs Leonardo Balerdi

AS Roma has officially announced the signing of Argentine defender Leonardo Balerdi from Olympique Marseille during the current summer transfer window.

The club clarified that the deal was initially a loan, with an option to sign the player permanently.

Balerdy is 27 years old and has played over 200 matches in European leagues with Borussia Dortmund and Olympique Marseille. He also has 11 international appearances with the Argentina national team.

The Argentine defender has chosen to wear the number 26 shirt with Roma as he officially starts his new experience in Serie A.
