Badr Al-Raziza Officially Named President of Saudi Football Federation

The General Assembly of the Saudi Football Federation has decided today, Sunday, on the identity of the new president, endorsing Badr Al-Raziza's list to take over the presidency of the board for the upcoming four-year term.

The decision for acclamation came after the approval of the only candidate list submitted for the elections, having met all specified conditions and requirements, leading to the cancellation of the vote and the conclusion of the electoral process without competition.

Badr Al-Raziza has been named president, with Louay Mushabi as vice president, alongside seven members: Lamya Bin Bahyan, Fahd Al-Mansour, Salman Al-Sudairi, and Thamer Al-Saadoun.

The list also included Omar Al-Juraisi, Nicolas Coward, and Gerard Rudi, completing the formation of the board of the Saudi Football Federation for the sixth term.

The Election Committee for the Union Board revealed the final list of candidates last Wednesday, following the completion of the appeals and objections stages, and the closure of the withdrawal period according to the announced timeline.

The approval of the final list was based on the electoral program that was unveiled on July 16, before the elections were decided by acclamation, due to the absence of a competing list.

Badr Al-Raziza begins his new role as president of the Saudi Football Federation, alongside the board members, to lead the football institution over the next four years.
