Alemany Confirms Julian Alvarez's Future at Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid has made its position clear regarding the future of Argentine striker Julian Alvarez, putting an end to speculation linking the player with a departure during the winter transfer window. The club's management is now focused on getting him back to full fitness and returning to team training.

Mateo Alemany, an official at Atletico Madrid, confirmed that the club is committed to keeping Alvarez, stating that the management's position regarding the future of the Argentine striker is clear.

Alemany stated: "We have been clear, the board has said that, and Miguel Ángel Gil Marín has said that too, so I will stick to what has been said, why should I talk?".

Almeida's comments came during the press conference ahead of Atlético Madrid's clash with Sevilla, following rising speculation in England regarding the potential departure of Alvarez. The official confirmed that the club's sporting plans do not include any sudden changes regarding the player's status.

Alvarez has been ruled out due to a health setback.
